Jaume Bertranpetit MAE, Director of Academia Europaea Barcelona Knowledge Hub, warmly invites all AE Members to attend Building Bridges 2025, AE’s Annual Conference, hosted at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB).

Attendees can look forward to an exciting programme; highlights include László Lovász MAE, Erasmus Medal Winner 2025, Jordi Savall, internationally celebrated medieval musician, and Janez Potočnik, former EU Commissioner.

The Conference will include a dedicated welcome event for new AE Members - a much-anticipated annual tradition. All sessions will be held in English and are open to MAEs and invited guests.

14th and 18th October are reserved for optional social activities. This year’s programme includes a geological trip to Montserrat Mountain and a visit to the renowned Spanish winery, Torres.
